1. Do not maintain eye contact.  It’s fascinating to know that you can empathize and discover the other person just by looking at their eyes. These are the mirrors of the soul, and it is important not to forget this habit in verbal language.

Carrying out this action reflects trust, transparency and respect for the person in front of us.

Eye contact also allows us to be able to measure the other person’s response and to better understand their feelings and sensations.

2. Do lots of arm movements.  When a person gesticulates excessively using their arms, they can impart nervousness or insecurity to us.

4. Maintain distance.  We should not be too close to the person until we invade their environment and space, but we should not move too far away either.

Observe the surroundings and try to adjust the amount of physical space in between, so that it makes you feel comfortable.

5. Not smiling enough. Smiling allows us to maintain relaxed and confident communication with those around us.

6. Not taking care of your body posture. General body posture is the essence of non-verbal language.

It constitutes the totality of the instrument that we need to be successful in our communication with others, which is our  body. 

Try to remember that your position represents what others will perceive. This is your presentation card.

If we don’t care about this posture, it may be that slackness causes us to have an attitude of disenchantment and fatigue that will put us at a disadvantage.

7. We are constantly swinging.  This is one of the most common traits that shows that something is wrong.

The action of constantly moving the feet and legs shows that the person in question does not feel at ease and that they are worried about the subject they are discussing.
