The worst sadness is that which has no witnesses

Sadness settles very well in our mind when we open it through and through. If she encounters an ever greater void, she may end up in total control of our thoughts.

The environment that best suits the development of sadness is that of loneliness.

When we are alone, we have no reason not to hide it, and we completely submit to its orders.

On the other hand, this state of sadness can cause a surge of attention in those around you, as they care more about you, try to cheer you up, and want you to feel better.

But by adopting this attitude, they subconsciously reinforce your situation because you desire to be alone, but you feel like you are covered by others.

Why is sadness so resistant?

Experts tell us that there is no worse addiction to a substance than that which causes an individual not to need anyone to consume it.

He no longer wants to be accompanied, or to find himself in particular social contexts, to indulge in his addiction.

Being alone with his substance is all he needs to experience pleasure, as there are no more rules or obstacles for his consumption to extend to all hours of the day and night.

This is exactly what happens with sadness. If the person lives in solitude and does not want to share it, he clings to an existence without imposed parameters and without obstacles.

This makes perfect sense, as we don’t feel like showing our sadness to others.

However, it is the beginning of an isolation mechanism.If it lasts a long time, it can generate depression, pain and a great deal of shadow.

How to fight sadness?

In order not to get to this depressive state, it is important not to let sadness completely invade us. We must fight at all times against this dangerous mental state:

  • For starters, stay away from dramas and the people who love to create them.
  • Start building pleasant situations in your life with new people.
  • Try to relax as much as possible, so that you can clearly analyze your life, and get rid, for example, of those friends who are not really friends.
  • Do as much of the things you love as possible : read, listen to music, play sports, or do manual work. These occupations are not wastes of time, because they allow you to fight effectively against your sadness.
  • Speak up as soon as you can. Don’t be ashamed by doing it. Go out and have a cup of coffee with your friends, even if you don’t feel like it. Appetite comes with eating.
  • Don’t get completely locked into your life. Analyze what changes you can make, and don’t hesitate to start from scratch, without hurting others.

Throughout our existence, we will inevitably experience sad times.

Allow yourself to cry and let go. Be aware that there are times when you can faint, and that a little loneliness will do you good.

Keep in mind that your sadness will not leave you if you do not put limits on it, and that you will have to make efforts to get out of it, because desires are worth nothing without the actions to put them in place.

Cry without witnesses if you want to, but remember that this phase of loneliness should only last a while.

These are feelings that you should not suppress, but neither should you bring to bear on your soul.

Sadness thrives very well in a lonely soul, no one will disturb it and it will not go away if you don’t fix it.
